When I change a contacts pfp it changes my Apple Id Pfp why?

The two are tied together. From the article below.

Your Apple ID picture is also displayed as your user login picture and as your My Card in Contacts.

Updating my Apple ID is effecting my contacts and my device email. Every time I update my profile picture. One of my contacts gets updated with the same. I also noticed now a new email address auto populating in my browser. I said that’s not my email whose is it? Looked in my contacts and found it was the same contact whose I’d picture changes with mine. I hope this person is not seeing any of my personal information… how do we fix this issue? this only started happening recently so…. Is there a change in your software recently that screwed things up? I see others have this same issue. I do not share any family plan or data information. I’m the only person who has an apple device in my family.
