iOS 15 tracks iPhone when they're off... wondering if the same is true for a Mini (albeit ... no cellular).

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are asking about tracking an iPad mini that only has Wi-Fi and not cellular data. The good news is Find My still works for this, but of course there are caveats so please see these resources:

Your iPad would need to be powered on and connected to the internet in order to see the current location: Locate a device in Find My on iPad - Apple Support
If the device is online, you see the location of the device. If the device is offline, you see the location of the device the last time it went online or connected to the Find My network.

Ergo, can an iPad Mini - WiFi only - be found the same way as #1 and #2 (and #3), or must it have WiFi connectivity to be ... found?
