CAC Reader - IPad Air
Has there been any progress with a working driver for USB-C CAC card readers? I have a device, but the reader is not recognizing it.

usb is short for universal serial bus, while there are some global generic drivers then most usb devices require a device driver made by the manufacturer of the said usb device, if your usb-c cac card reader do not use some generic driver luke usb mass storage then you will be relying on that manufacturer to provide an app in app store to communicate with the device.
beside that then ios devices are able to provide a lot less current out of their connector than the avarage computer, so some devices may only work if connected to a ac power usb hub connected to the ios device in question
