Order still processing but credit card was charged

Hello,

last week my credit card was charged with the price of a Macbook I've ordered back in February and that is finally due to arrive on May 25th-June 10th. I've waited a few days to see an update in the order status but so far nothing has changed on that.

I'm a little worried because from what I've read in the FAQ sections the credit card is charged once the product is shipped or just before that, but a week has passed and I've seen no update? Anyone else had the same experience?

When Apple charges your account

Apple receives authorization to charge your account prior to shipping your item(s). However, your card will only be charged after your order has shipped.

If the charge has actually been posted and not just "pending" it means your Mac has been marked as "shipped".

The reason why I posted on here is because I want to know if this significantly big delay in the order status update is normal, based on real-life experiences, not on generic information from Apple website.
Thank you for trying to help me, though

If you purchased from Apple then you are not charged until it is shipped.

We users do not know what else to tell you. Contact Apple using the "Get Support" link located at the top right of this page if you need support regarding your purchase.

That means it's very close to being shipped.

However, if you're that worried, you can start with the Get Support link at upper right of this page to possibly learn more.

Being a credit card purchase, if you never receive the unit, every CC company I've ever dealt with will not make you pay and put the charge back on Apple. But you have to actively dispute the charge yourself in those cases.

My issue is that the order status has NOT changed on the orders page, and it's already been a week since the card was charged. That's why I'm worried, because I've read the online shop FAQ as well.

Thank you for your answer. I wouldn't be too concerned by this because Apple said my computer is expected to arrive in 10-20 days, but I wanted to know if any of you experienced such a delay (the card was charged 8 days ago) between the card charge and the update of the information on the "order status page".
