New Samsung 32" M8 4k SmartMonitor not looking good when HDR is on?

I bought the brand new Samsung M8 SmartMonitor and the display is very nice for everything, except when I turn HDR on on my M1 Mini. It looks fine without HDR, but I think it should be on as it has that setting on my M1. :>

There is nothing on my M1 Mini in the settings that can do anything. Any ideas as I am within the return period if I need to return it. Super nice setup, speakers sound good, got a webcam too so I want to keep it if possible.
