Last Update Killed My Iphone Xr

Has anyone that downloaded the last update had the same issues. Frozen screen, slow downloads, radical behavior like apps not opening or getting stuck halfway?

Which "last update" version are you referring to?

Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

This did not work for me. Followed instructions carefully and held down SIDE button for 60 seconds. Nothing happened. Ever since the last update (15.5 running on XR), multiple features are "greyed" out meaning I cannot operate them. These include under Settings> my name; the entire Background App Refresh section,; App store> Location, In-App Ratings & Reviews, Mail > Cellular Data; Calendar >Accounts/Add Account/Fetch New Data; Notes/Accounts; FaceTime; TV provider.

Please assist.
