Recover note accidentally edited over

I was editing a note. I clicked on it to start and an old note pasted over it. The old note completely disappeared. I can’t find it at all. Is there a way to recover it ?

MacBook Air (2020 or later)

how can I recover data within a note that I accidentally pasted over? . When I go to recently deleted it is not there because note was not deleted just it’s original contents.
