Sound Cutting Out on YouTube Video Playback

Hi team,

I have a new Mac Studio and Studio Display. When I came home tonight the sound on my video playback started cutting out, like a bad connections. the video was fine. Everything has been working great under tonight. All the software is up to date. The videos playback fine on my iPhone and iPad. I restarted the system twice and disconnected and reconnected the T4 cable, same issue.

Anybody got any idea what might be going on?

Thanks, Mark

I had this problem, but it was audio from other web sites and even my apple tv app. It was the Studio Display (internal speaker on my Mac Studio was fine) I powered the Studio Display on / off by unplugging, and sound was restored.

mac587, that was the problem. None of my other devices had the problem. I got on with Tech Support last night and it turned out that there is a bug in the Studio Display. Had to shut every down and disconnect from power, wait a little and then plug everything back in. Everything worked on power up. It was in his tech notes, so they know about it. Everything is good now! Thanks!
