BeatsX will not turn on

My headphones have been unused for a few years. When I plug them in to charge, the light blinks red then white then stays white. I unplug them but they won't turn on. What is the problem?

I am trying to use my Beats X headphones. They have been unused for a few years. When I plug them in to charge, the light blinks red and white then stays white. When I unplug them, they will not turn on.

What does that mean?
