Factory Reset your iPhone:

Indeed a bit suspicious. So, where did you purchase this? If purchased from Apple, then no worries there.

No Success?:

B. Go Here:  Erase and Restore your Device without a Computer- Apple Support.

Factory reset. (Backup first, if your data is of value to you.)

That reset might or might not help.

Though this would seem to quite possibly be a hardware issue, which means a discussion with Apple Support.
