Why is my Apple Watch not responding?

I recently bought an Apple Watch, but after about a week of use it stopped responding. When I try to touch the screen or use the Digital Crown it doesn't do anything.The only thing that works is when I hold down the button and then press it again. Is there something that can be done to fix this issue?
