iPhone can't recognize my phone number

Hi,

In the phone menu My Number does not display my phone number and I do not have a chance to enter one. This in return results in the inability to set up the number for FaceTime and iMessage. Both numbers come from the same provider (lycamobile) - can this be helped out? None of the ideas I have found online (signing in and out, talking the SIM card out and putting it in again) and so on and so forth, work.

M.
