Syncing contacts -reverting immediately or over time

How do I properly sync contacts so they are what I have on my phone and changes made on my phone

Contacts not syncing I updated my Contacts on my iPad Pro yesterday. Despite being linked to the Cloud the additions I made on that device are not updating on my iPhone or MacMini. However, when I make changes on my iPhone or MacMini those changes are made to the iPad Pro. Help!

Go to settings ➡️Appleid➡️Icloud➡️Contacts➡️ Turn it ON
