My iPad has not been turning on since the software update a couple of months ago in late February. I have tried to restore it and have put it into DFU mode but when I try to restore it on iTunes, I get error code 4042. I've seen a few other people have this issue and hope that there is a way to resolve it and get my iPad to turn on and work again. Thank you.

Thanks, but have tried to restart it but the screen is still black and does not turn on. Will probably need to contact Apple Support, thanks for the link.
