Unable to update and get my phone to work

My phone doesn’t want to update, and says it doesn’t have service although it should be working. What should I do?

Then see this Apple article: If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad

If you see No Service or Searching on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Then try to do the update.
