I want to set-up my iPhone 13 so that when I arrive at work, set either by location or
wifi, my phone still rings, but rings with a quieter ring and / or maybe rings
once.
Using Focus, I can set an automation so that my phone won’t ring, but that’s
not what I’m looking for, as I want it to ring quietly.
Any suggestions?

To lower your ring volume, go to Settings -> Sounds & Haptics and then adjust the ring slider until Ringer and Alerts.

If you want to lower your ring volume but without doing the slider, go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Face ID & Attention then click Attention Aware Features. This will let your phone ring quietly. The iPhone will check for attention before the display dims the display. This will cause lowering the volume of some alerts. If it's already on, then do the 1st option I provided.
