Unfortunately not. The PDF Viewer within the native Files App will always show the thumbnail preview strip at the left-side of the page. You are not the first to seek the ability to suppress this view.
The native PDF Viewer used to have the preview strip positioned on the right-hand side of the screen. Due to complaints from many right-handed iPad Users, Apple - instead of making the item configurable - responded by moving the strip to the left-side - now frustrating the left-handed User community and those that would simply like to hide the strip.
