Why is my Apple Watch being drained after I installed Response ONE 3D app?

I made the mistake of installing the 3D app on my iPhone and Watch. Now the Watch battery is draining very fast even after I uninstalled the App on my Watch. Also when I used the 3D app (on my iPhone) to check the status of the hearing aid I couldn't connect to the HAs because the battery level was too low. At this point the Watch was around 10% (which is after approx 5 hours) and the iPhone around 60%.

What is going on? Why is the iPhone 3D app seeming to check the Watch battery level?

I found out how to contact ReSound and they said there are known problems with Apple iOS that Apple is working on. In the meantime the app isn't usable.

Do you of a way to use Resound Assist? - all it tells me is that the 3D software is up to date. Other pages say that I have to contact my health care professional. That doesn't seem reasonable as it is unlikely they would know how to fix a software problem such as this.

Unfortunately I can't find any way of contacting the developer even following the instructions. In addition to draining the batteries, the app doesn't work properly. It keeps fluctuating the sound settings which makes it impossible to use.

The reason I posted the question on this forum is because I thought I had removed the watch app completely on the Watch and on the iPhone. I will see what the developer has to say. Thanks.
