Underlining and weird highlighted tabs

I noticed the other day that here and there in the interface the "back" or "change" options in the navigation gets underlined (or the mark/copy/paste-options when entering text). I also have a blue tint as well instead of the normal blue icon to show what tab is active in the phone app for instance (same phenomena in Strava app so it's across the interface).

Check attached printscreens.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a setting I've changed without realising? I've looked everywhere and I cannot find anything to make it go back to normal.

I have to be the dumbest on the forum. Literally the first thing turned on in accessibility was the culprit. Under Screen and fontsize (I'm not sure about the English names for the menus) I had activated "button shapes", again I don't know what the option is called in English.

I have been going through the accessibility menu a hundred times without trying to turn it off. Thank you!

You're hardly the dumbest! Those weird little things are often the hardest to figure out. And there are soooooo many things in accessibility. Someone posted about having constant bird noises. Turns out, there's now a background sound feature in Accessibility. Who knew?

Glad I was able to point you in the right direction.

Hey there AtEase1980,

Since noticing this, have there been any changes to your iPhone?

Also, make sure you have the latest software installed to help if this is a software related issue. To update, use these steps:

Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
If you see two software update options available, choose the one that you want to install.
The Settings app on iPhone showing options to update to iOS 14.8 or iOS 15.

Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

If this persists, Contact Apple Support for additional options.

Take care!
