Need to make my moms iPhone less than...

Too many options. Can I admin away everything on my moms iPhone 8 so it only calls, texts and gets her email? (and she has an Apple Watch ver.3 with cell, paired to it if that matters)

I just got Apple One, started reading about family share and saw the create a childs account info. My mom exceeds the min age by 80yrs, is there a max age? Also, I was about to get her an simple flip phone (jitterbug or whatever) and keep her watch paired iPhone 8 charged up & connected with the service provider. But, the key pad on a flip phone becomes the next hurdle.

O.k. You can even move the Apps you don't want her to access onto a different home screen, and then hide that Home Screen entirely.

You can restrict many things on the iPhone itself through Screen Time. Most of the options will not be removed though.

Age of the user is not important. The only feature that is age restricted is Ask to Buy. Every other Parental restriction can be enabled regardless of account age. You can lock out all apps except the ones you specify.

Thanks Phil, I will start locking apps and dropping them into a folder. This should be a big help.
