My iPhone got locked because of multiple incorrect PIN attempt

My Iphone got locked because of multiple Incorrect PIN attempt - Right now it is saying "Iphone Unavailable" - I do have the correct PIN now but the Iphone is not allowing me to enter the PIN Number

I did raise a complaint regarding the issue - through Apple customer service (Call) but they said their is no option to get my iphone data back - and they just ignored my compliant as suggestion

When I asked them about this Apple said you need to write a letter to Ireland head office - which I did and got a phone call from the Apple saying they can not do anything regarding the complaint and they wanted me to restore my phone to factor setting - Which I am not happy in doing

At the same time - I did asked Apple customer service assistant regarding MD or CEO email ID - So, I can reach out to them directly - But the Assistant said my complaint has already reached the highest level and no one in the Apple can do anything regarding this issue - The only option I have is to factory reset my Iphone - Which I am not happy in doing So.

Did anyone faces similar issue and what did you do ?

Thanks

Without getting into he said / she said ...

You need to reset (completely erase) your phone and restore it from it's most recent backup.

You WILL need your AppleID credentials so prepare accordingly.

Actually, locking the phone after numerous Passcode attempts is a security feature you should be glad to have. It keeps those who do not know the correct Passcode from accessing your data should they have the opportunity to try. The only way around the wrong Passcode or forgotten Passcode is a complete erasure of the device. You have learned the hard way the importance of a good back-up plan.
