AirPods randomly getting disconnected

So I have 1st generation AirPods and since April of 2022 I noticed that I would use them and they would have more than 50% and then all of the sudden one will just disconnect. I have reset them, I have updated my phone, and my other things to help but in the end, nothing has really worked. What should I do at this point? Could I get newer AirPods to replace my current ones?

Thank you for the followup reply.

A. Re-Enable Bluetooth:

Go in to Settings, and then disable, then enable Bluetooth.

B. Getting these Replaced:

To see if you can get these replaced, go here: AirPods Replacement, Service, and Repair - Apple Support

No Success?...

C. Contact Apple Support:

Ask the Apple Rep what is going on here, and if you can get these replaced.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
