Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If we understand correctly, you are trying to sync specific photos to your Apple Watch. If you look at the screenshot in the Apple resource you shared, which is the correct one, you can sync a specific album to your Apple Watch, so the best move would be to either chose an existing album or create a new album with the photos you want on your iPhone, and then sync that to your Apple Watch.
