i erased my iphone and now i cant find it it still shows as being logged into my cloud so is there any way i can locate it

If you erased it, then it is no longer trackable with Find My. The fact it is still listed under your AppleID means activation lock remains active on it. But erasing it breaks the connection with iCloud so it is no longer remotely trackable.
