I'd like to go in and have someone help me as my old MacBook pro is very old

I would like an appointment at the Genius bar at my local apple store so that they can help me with the migration from my 2012 mac book pro to my new 14 inch MacBook pro

Since your Mac is new, you can avail yourself of Apple's complimentary phone or chat support. That service is included in the price of your new Mac, and transferring content from your previous Mac is a very routine task for which they are fond of providing assistance.

Apple will send you an email offering that service, but if you did not get one click Get Support to get started.
