My apple airpods will not charge. I can not get the apple charger to into the charging port on the airpod case. It is almost like something is blocking the charger from going into the charging port.

Have you made sure you are using the correct charger? If you are, then I would recommend you book an appointment the Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple (UK)
They will then be able to have a look at your AirPods case.
