Setting up reward cards

Nothing that I see as to “rewards cards” that are not credit or debit cards. rewards cards are shown within samples of setting up and using Apple wallet/Apple Pay (Walgreens.) any other suggestions.?
I have iPhone se with 15.5 and iPad 7 with 15,5.
I have my Panera rewards card set up to use with the Wallet app. Are you not trying to set up some rewards card to use with the Wallet app?
Yes I would like for it to be there. Just what are the steps you took to add the card, please.
Oh! I was trying to add it like I added my credit card which was done when setting up Apple Pay. Thank you for this clarification.
