Q: Only 1 client of 3 shows on xSan

Testing xSan with fibre network with 3 clients (of 12). One of the clients shows up on xSan but 2 cloned clients don't. Fiber link is good and ethernet working on all 3 clients. The other 2 machines are seen by both ethernet and local address but fail to authenticate.

These are 2009 MacPros with 10.6.4 Final Cut Studio 3 installed.

Any suggestions?

MacPro 2009, Mac OS X (10.6.4), Final Cut Studio 3, Fibre Network, xSan

I am assuming that you changed hostname, public and private addresses on cloned Xsan clients according to you DNS records.
Also your MDCs are running OSX Server 10.6.4 right?

I always make client clone without Xsan and after I change network settings I install xsan on clients, then add clients on MDC Xsan admin.

Therefore uninstall and reinstall xsan on one of the troubled clients. If that works do this to another.
