I have the new Mac Studio with a 27" mac studio display and the magic keyboard. I have the Touch ID in the system preferences menu but when it instructs me to "Double-Press the power button on your Mac" nothing happens. I've tried pressing it once and that has an effect but the double press doesn't satisfy the question and I can't move past that point.
Can anyone help?

Just keep trying the double click to secure pair the Touch KB with the Studio. Also, connect th KB to the Mac with the supplied USB-Lightning cable when pairing.
I had to double click the Power button on my Studio Max many times to get it to securely pair. I even shut down the Studio at least once trying to secure pair.

Yes, this corrected the problem. The double press has to be extremely quick. I kept pressing until I finally got it right.
