How can I enable the touch function on my iPhone SE II, so that I can enter my passcode on the display screen numeric pad?.

I am "H4E" replying to my question to let you know my problem was solved.

I found a solution at a site.

I followed their instructions until I saw the Apple logo appear on the black screen.

When the "slide to power off" icon appeared, it responded to my slide-touch!

When I turned the power on, all icons were "live" (responding to touch) again.
