The Training app suddenly pauses the time on my Apple Watch during my workout

When i’m training while wearing my apple watch and using the training app, it suddenly pauses the time during my workout. The other day while i was running, it suddenly paused itself. It did so maybe 4-5 times. I get it if it puts my workout on pause because i’m actually taking a pause, but it pauses my workout while i’m actually working out and it has become very much annoying. I’ve tried turning off the automatic pause, but nothing seems to be working.

Go to the watch app on the phone and tap on workout,turn off autopause and end workout reminder.

Or on the watch in settings/workout and turn them off there.

Or;

When you start your workout slide right on the screen and tap on lock,then when you finish the workout turn the digital crown in one continuous movement to turn the lock off then slide right again and tap on end.

Tighten the watch band a touch.

Don't wear the watch on top of any tattoos.

Is your sleeve catching on the side buttons or on the screen itself?

My sleeve hasn’t been catching on the side buttons or on the screen itself which is why it didn’t make any sense for it to pause my workout. But i will try some of the things you mentioned and see if it helps - thank you :)
