Camera Issue -- green light on but no picture

Hi,

When I open my camera through Photobooth, Jitsi (on chrome) or Zoom, I have a green light on as an indication of "Camera On" but there is no image shown on the screen. I can only see black.

I've tried restarting the compute as well as booting up in 'safe mode' but it does the same thing. I've checked permissions and that the camera is detected in hardware so I'm pretty lost as to what the problem could be. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
