Broken iPad 4

how do you unlock an iPad 4th gen when it is in complete lock, like not powering off, screen broken, and home button stuck?

The usual reset sequence is described in the Related Article, linked above.


If the screen is damaged and the home button is malfunctioning, then you’ll need to get those repaired first.


Given the age of this iPad (~2012, tops out at i)Sn10), replacing this iPad with a newer (used, refurb) or new iPad might be a better path.


The contents of this iPad are gone, which means—if there are no backups—the data is gone.
