Screen Time on IPad and IPhone

I was using my IPad and my reported screen time earlier today was 1h 24m for Safari on my IPad. I didn’t check my Safari on my IPhone once earlier today and somehow the reported screen time for Safari on my IPhone is also 1h 24 min. I find this very strange and I’m confused right now. My IPhone and IPad share the same Apple ID and I was wondering if screen time can be linked and shared between different devices, using the same Apple ID.
