Weather widget no longer functions without location services and forces “my location” location

The widget no longer functions without location services. And with location services on there is unconsenually another location in my app and it is defaulted and not removable. I do not need or want “my location” in my app. What I need is for my widget to function and display the city that I actually chose. What purpose is there for there to be two of the same city with slightly different readings? Can I delete the “my location” profile. Ands chose what is default? Out of all the years I’ve had iphone why is it like this now?

Long-press the widget and select the city you wish to display. If you elect my location, location services needs to be enabled.

Thank you for the screenshot.

For note...

Location Services are not being Used:

Seeing the arrow*** just outlined, this shows that location services are not being used.
