I keep resetting my password but it won’t work in the app store

My Apple ID password works completely fine everywhere other than the App Store, where it always tells me my password is incorrect when I want to update or an install an app that needs my password to download.

After repeatedly getting my password wrong, the App Store tells me to reset my password, and I reset it with no problems and I can use that new password anywhere else I try to log in, but it’s when I get to the App Store that it won’t accept my new password or any old ones
