Keyboard problem MacBook pro

Q:

One of my keyboard keys is not working? Of course it Hass to do with my sign in on my Mac book pro and I cannot sign in and I cannot change the password because my Apple ID has the same letter in it

You can try cleaning the key board—

How to clean the keyboard of your MacBook or MacBook Pro


You can also use an external keyboard—maybe a cable connection is best here to register, and then make change to your password if necessary.... to get you by.

I will add single keys, associated keys in a straight line, or keys associated on the diagonal, typically indicates a hardware issue.
