I can’t use a watch at work. Will my phone steps on the health app track my move calories burned ?

Yes, Use the Health app on your iPhone or iPod touch states: "Health automatically counts your steps, walking, and running distances. And, if you have an Apple Watch, it automatically tracks your Activity data."
