When is “start” and “end” of day specifically?

I don’t understand what the mindfulness app means by start and end of day, can anyone tell me what those times are specifically? Is it based on my sleep schedule, such as my wake up alarm and wind down time?

I mean it would be nice if apple could just explain it simply - it’s got to be pulling from some data source so what is it? I’m surprised it doesn’t say anywhere on that support page

Here’s where to direct your suggestion, as Apple may or may not see postings here: Product Feedback - Apple

I’m not sure whether that whole app could be explained… to use your word… simply. The app authors do seek to allow you to awaken to experiences, living from moment to moment, and focusing only on what matters. That app seems targeted about as far away from being regimented and scheduled as any app can be. If that awakening of consciousness helps you and works well for you, by all means use and experience the app.
