iPhone 13 Pro camera has soft focus

The picture quality of my iPhone 13 Pro is terrible, even with good light and medium-distance subjects (for example a musician sitting on a stage 8 feet away with good lighting).

The macro lens is unusable for close-ups (for example, a bee on a flower). It's just plain blurry.

I have had two Genius appointments, and this has not been resolved.

"iPhone 13 Pro camera has soft focus: I know what to expect from a phone and a camera. I already have several digital cameras. The iPhone 13 Pro is not as sharp as a phone camera ought to be."

Tell me about it. Give Apple feedback on this, as I have.

Provide Apple Feedback:

Do your Part. Inform Apple of this. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what feature to include in models to com. Question is: How many people have actually reported this on their own. Apple barely reads these forums as it is on their own time. So, report it to get the word out.

How to Give Feedback:

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Performance" for "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on how this is an issue, and how you think it should be fixed. Include the URL of this post.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

iPhone iSight Camera:

All seems fine. The iPhone's iSight camera is not intended for high-resolution use (something a photographer would prefer). If you want such output, then you need to get a digital camera.
