Kindle doesn't work since 12.3.1

I've noticed that Amazon Kindle no longer loads my books properly since Monterey 12.3.1 and newer. It works OK on my Macs with 12.0.1, but doesn't work on those that I've upgraded to 12.3.1 and 12.4.

App Store fails to download Kindle app I just bought a new Mac Mini with 13.2.1 Ventura preinstalled. The existing Amazon Kindle app I had, which migrated over, does not work. So I went to the App Store and tried to download the current version, 1.40.1. The square dot appears and the circle fills for several seconds, then circling arrows appear for several seconds--exactly as if it were downloading and installing. Finally, the message appears: Unable to Download App "Kindle" could not be installed. Please try again later. I have "tried again later" numerous times but I don't believe it is going to work. Ideas? Anyone else seen this? The old version is an Intel app, but Rosetta 2 is installed and so far every other Intel-based apps I have works fine.

Apparently Monterey 12.3 will not load magazines from Kindle Monterey 12.3 on my iMac and MacBook Pro will not load magazines from Kindle. Anyone have this problem ?

Kindle for Mac Kindle failing with Big Sur. Kindle will launch on MacBook Air but after selecting a Kindle book, it quits after 10 seconds or less. Worked fine prior to the new software install.

Check with the Developer of this application for any updates and / or support

Much has changed in Monterey from the initial public release of version 12.0.1, Released Oct 25, 2021
