What do you mean it does not work? What happens when you try to install it?
Currently that is the only source for the installer.
The older stand alone installer for Windows 7 and 8 is available in the link I provided above.
Once you install the app from the Microsoft store, you get an error message "icloud for windows did not install properly." It then says to go to the app and repair it, but you get the same result. If you look at the inquiries on the internet for this problem, it is a very common occurrence without a solution. There is something wrong with the store app.
I tried the windows 7 or 8 install.exe and finally got it to work.
The windows store application does not work. Apple support directs you to go to the Windows Store. What happened to downloading the app directly for Apple?
