Macbook air Apple ID log in failure

Hello, I got this new MacBook Air (the new one) but it doesn't want to log into my Apple account even after I made a new one, not even FaceTime. idk what's wrong with it it doesn't say that my password or email is wrong, can you please help me?

When I try to sign in with my Apple id, it just keeps on coming back to the screen asking for Apple ID. If I type the wrong password, it gives the message that the id or password is wrong, which makes me believe that it is checking with the iCloud. MacBook Pro rejecting correct Apple ID and password I am having issues connecting my apple ID to my MacBook pro(early 2015 model). I attempt to sign in my apple ID through the system preferences page and when I add in the correct information it seems to neither accept or deny it which then takes me back to the option/ original page of filling in my apple ID username. I have updated my mac to the lastest version of MacOs Monetery (12.6.5) as well as switching email accounts for the apple ID with a changed password. How can I fix this issue?

I set up my Mac and used apple id I created during set up. When I want to log in, it says the apple id is not active. I am confused whether I use wrong password or something else. I set up my Mac Pro with an apple ID i created during set up of my new mac and when I logged in, it say this ID is not active. I dont understand whether i use the wrong password or the apple account is not active for some reason.
