iPhone 13 connection issues to vehicle

I recently purchased the iPhone 13 pro max. I’ve got it connected to my vehicles Bluetooth but only the phone will connect. No audiobooks, no music - apple or Spotify, no podcasts. I’ve removed and tried several times to no avail. My iPhone 11 connected easily. Phone has most updated iOS.


any help?! If I can’t get this connected I’ll have to return and go back to my 11 as I’m in my vehicle far too much to not have full access etc.

Can you tell us what happens when you try to play audio from your iPhone 13 Pro Max when it's connected to your car? Is it possible that another Bluetooth device might be connected to your iPhone where the audio is being routed instead of your car? Your answers can help us isolate what might be going on and possible next steps.
