How to Print Out Large Sections of Text Conversation

I have an iPhone 13 Pro currently just updated to 15.5

I do not think using Print Screen will work because there will then be at least a dozen separate screen shots.

I have tried to long press on part of the conversation that I wish to copy/tap 'More'/fill in the email address I wish to send it to (once to myself and then once to a friend as a test)/tap the 'Send' arrow.

But, the result wasn't what I was expecting: neither I or my friend received the emails as 'emails'; instead, they showed up as received text messages (I received both the ones that I sent to myself and the one I sent to my friend - she received zilch)

What am I doing wrong? I'd appreciate any helpf offered. I am 74, this is my first iPhone, and - obviously - I am not at all 'techie'!

TIA

Hello!

Other than using the “More” option, you can copy and paste the text messages into an email before sending it.

  1. Tap and hold on the selected text message.
  2. Select “Copy”.
  3. Compose an email (whether in Mail or another application).
  4. Tap and hold on the screen, and then select “Paste” on the menu that pops up.

This should allow you to send the messages via email.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to copy multiple text messages on an iPhone.

However, if you tap and hold on one text message, you can press the “More” option. This will allow you to select multiple text messages; afterwards, you can press the arrow button on the lower part of the screen. Instead of sending it through text message, you can just highlight the text that is about to be sent. This will allow you to copy all of the highlighted text.

When I press on 1 bubble and press More, I'm presented with an empty circle next to each bubble, I press on and fill in the ones that I want to send; then, I press on the little curvy arrow in the bottom right corner (trash can for Delete is in lower left corner) - This sends me to a screen where all the bubbles are kinda' flowing one after another (No spacing lines inbetween.) and at the top is "To:" At this point, do I simply type in the recipient's email or 'go somewhere' to get their address -- and, when that's done, what should I see on the screen and what do I do next?

Thank you, You are very patient
