Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Hi. I finally upgraded from an iPhone 5 to a 12 (yay!). Everything is wonderful but I can’t get the flashlight to work. The icon is located in the lower left upon startup but nothing happens when I tap it— the same goes for the camera, but that can be accessed through the app when needed. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? The iOS is up to date and I’ve already tried restarting several times.

If you are trying to turn on your iPhone's flashlight through the lock screen, just press and hold down on the button then let go. Then your flashlight should turn on. Same thing with the camera button. Press and hold down again to disable the flashlight.
If you are trying to turn on your iPhone's flashlight when your iPhone is unlocked, swipe down on the top right corner of the iPhone where's the battery icon, wi-fi icon, and cellular icon is located. Then you should see a flashlight icon, just click it.

Thank you! I feel a bit stupid because it was so obvious. My only excuse is that with the iPhone 5, I just had to tap the icon. Lol
