Automatically signing me out of emails

This morning when I tried to access Gmail, it required verification. Even with that it took at least five attempts to get through. What is odd is that I never sign out and keep the tabs open for it and the two other emails I use.


So, when I got in, I changed the two step verification because it is just too time consuming to use it. But it still signs me out each time I leave it to go to another tab. This happens with the other email programs also. BUT, it only happens on the iPad and not the desktops (I use two and the emails are always open in tabs).


This just started this morning. What can I do?

We understand that when you're using Google Mail on your iPad and open a new tab in Safari, you're signed out of your Google account in the previous tab, correct?
