How do I turn of verification of purchases on the Apple Family plan

I want to share purchases with my Apple Family Plan members, however, I have to verify every purchase the members try to make. That is endlessly frustrating. How do I stop that from happening?

It sounds like you have Ask To Buy activated (and need to turn off):

Approve what kids buy with Ask to Buy - Apple Support

You should only find it working on a child's account, though if a person had recently transitioned from being a child to being an adult you may still find it active.

Note that if you are the Organizer you will still receive notices about purchases made by others, but those are not permission requests.
