Supplemental Font Folder

Some applications in Monterey are not able to use fonts from supplemental folder.

Is there any way to move fonts from supplemental folder to font folder?

Try accessing the fonts using Font Book found in Applications > Font Book. Open whatever application you are using then open Font Book and see if they are accessible.

Edit: some of those fonts need to be downloaded within Font Book.

Fonts are not missing, like I wrote before some fonts are not accessible by application(s).

There is Font folder in the library which contains some fonts and within the Font Folder is subfolder Supplemental Folder which content additional fonts. Those fonts are, for some reason, not accessible by application(s). Fit that reason I would like to move fonts from subfolder to Font Folder. Is it possible to do that?

Is this a New Issue ? If Yes, what exactly changed on this computer ?

Is this an Old Issue ? If Yes, what actions has the user taken to fix this issue ?

Understand, we are all working Remotely from all around the world. Therefore, we do not have the On-Hands experience the User ( you ) has with this computer.

I can select font that I would like to use within the application, no issue there, all system fonts are selectable. But autogenerated pdf file in application is created with different font in case I choose any font from supplemental folder. No issue if I select any font from Font Folder. I believe that application is using iText to create pdf file from excel data. That’s why I am trying to find workaround…

Application that I use is PILOTLOG. From the attachments you can see what is the problem that I am facing.

Chosen font is DIN Condensed (from Supplemental subfolder within Font Folder) and font is selectable within application. Generated pdf file showing all entries in different font style (marked as red) and same file when proper font is implemented is marked as green.,

When I choose font from Font folder (example Avenir Next Condensed), generated pdf file shows correct font (marked as green)
