I constant getting this message when trying to contact to OneDrive. I'm not able to download files etc. I can't work like this. Getting crazy...

As for iCloud over One Drive there are + and - on both sides
One Drive seems to be more for Storage - much like an External Drive.

My experience is iCloud Drive on Windows is far better than OneDrive on a Mac. You'll find both sides of the issue here, but on our one leftover Dell XPS 8900 we have iCloud.
